About American Legion Post 116

American Legion Post 116 in Newport has been an active part of the community for over 60 years. We are a veterans service organization proving aid and assistance to veterans and their families. Throughout the year we have community events in which we provide assistance to non veterans in the form of Thanksgiving Dinners, Christmas Party for kids, and partnering with local organizations to assist in their fundraising efforts. At Post 116 we are proud to say all the money we fund-raise stays in Lincoln County
